Ultra Sonic Edukators (USE) are a 7 piece psychedelic pop band from Chicago, Illinois. USE formed in April 2006 when former members of bands University and Speedwell joined forces. The group has quickly developed a devoted following within the Chicago music scene. Their style blends elements of psychedelic rock and pop, and its strong British pop/rock flavor never quite overpowers the bands sense of their American roots. In June of 2006, USE completed their first full-length record, Armageddon is
in My Room. In December of 2006, USE were
recognized by Rolling Stone Magazine as one
of the 25 Best Bands on MySpace.
